Anyone here remember the Butthole Surfers cover of the Sabbath classic Sweet Leaf? It had a good rant at the begining by Gibby. Real good live too. Especially when you could catch them with two drummers and playing the reverse sex change operation movie in reverse.

(I actually dont mind Sabbath, some very good tunes in the early years - i was trying to annoy avgjoe. not really too thrilled with ozzie's voice though)

Mediocre? You don't get into the rock and roll hall of fame if you are mediocre. Saying Iommi isn't a good guitar player is about as dumb as Arb saying Sabbath sucked because he listened to one show and didn't like it.

Besides, you probably think barely passable at best guitar player Steve Kimock is good. Which proves beyond a shadow of a doubt what a dipshit you are.

A lot of shows with sweat loaf. And the Butthole Surfers were an intense live experience back in late 80s - one of those bands whose influence will grow well beyond the number of folks that actually listened.

Always struck me that members of the GD seemed to be a lot more open minded about different types of music than many of their fans...

You hit the nail on the head there Bluedevil. Hell, just look at some of the garbage Relix used to push and people would buy up in droves. I wouldn't just limit one track tastes to just DeadHeads though. Reminds me of a quote I read from henry Rollins. Something along the lines of if the kids want to get turned on to good music they should try raiding their parents LP collections. Made me think of how many Punk fans listen to JUST Punk, or any fan of genre etc.

Rollins kicks ass!!! I was lucky enough to see him many years back opening up for Gwar in Hollywood. If you ever get a chance to read one of his poetry books, 'Art To Choke Hearts' Read it. It's excellent.

I remember a Gwar song that had a lyric, how do you hide money from a hippie? Put it under the soap.
"We are Gwar, We will go far, We have guitars." No that right there is some bad lyrics.

In your own words, "hey dmilks and pat - tito was permanently banned from posting on this site - I (previously direwolf2003) was guilty of egging him on and subsequently apologized to the curators and ceased my childing activity."

Ceased your CHILDING activity?

You are fucking sick.

A wolf by definition is a predator that hunts prey weaker than himself.

I noticed that you haven't denied any of this either.

I pinched off a sweet loaf this morning, must have been the coffee. While I was pretending to know chords:

http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=647

Me pretending to imitate and impersonation of someone creating a free multisample set for heavy non guitar playing people who need to cheat on their monsterous metal.
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=249

Bass guitar
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=292

Various loops for retards that don't play but have a lot to say.
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=184

Misc guitar evidence of me never even touching one.
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=149

The last drum set I got my hands on:
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/packsViewSingle.php?id=185

I also play bass on about 1200 songs on here (I think, you count them) but that doesn't count... cause I am not me.

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22NoiseCollector%22

Oh and there are many more songs but I stopped using "NoiseCollector" as the band name and started relasing our stuff on the label as Deadman (your personally favorite) & Digi Hartatak. It all started with the panic attacks I used to get and the simulated coronary defribulations I would perform that got me the nickname the "heart attack man" by Deadman who was at that time called Constable or Condom. Anyway that is how the silly names came to be, just watch the VH1 special on the unfamous and biggest unhit wonders for all the details.

As my good friend once said "all will be revealed".

Download for yourself, comment and help bring us all a little closer to god.
